In a blink, a year gone?

4 minutes to read

In a blink, a year gone?

Some years don’t end.

They just… fade into the next one.

Like that last sunset, you don’t realize is the last, until you are already on your way back.

We started this year with a trip.
And before we could process it… we are already planning the next one.

Time didn’t fly.
It just quietly moved while we were busy living through it.

It Started Somewhere Quiet

Not with a plan. Not with a checklist.

Just… a place where things slowed down.

Where mornings didn’t rush you. Where walking uphill didn’t feel like effort. Where conversations stretched longer than usual without anyone checking the time.

And somewhere in between all of that…
पहाड़ों के ऊपर, जंगल के पार … things got real.

What comes to your mind when you read that?

trip 2

For us, it was Landour & Mussoorie.

The kind of places just quietly become part of your memory.

From Silence to Chaos to Stillness Again

Then came Rishikesh.

Water hitting harder than expected. People shouting, laughing, holding on.

That kind of chaos where you are fully present because you have to be.

And then Haridwar.
The Ganga Aarti.

Fire, chants, silence, all at once.

There comes a thought that maybe not everything needs to be chased.
कुछ चीजें बस FEEL करनी होती है|

trip 5

Trip felt like a Pause we didn’t Plan

Mussoorie’s Old Cafés. The smell of coffee. That one more walk that turns into three.

And that leg pain.

In the trip the things that were heard the most were:

Can I have your window seat?
Half sleep conversations.
Send kar na repeated 20 times.
This doggu is so cute.

trip 6 scaled

काफ़ी कुछ हुआ… But not the Way you Think

Yes, we worked.
A lot, actually.

But this year, it didn’t feel like “more work = more growth.”

It felt different.

We worked across industries, across geographies, across expectations.

From enterprise-level clients like IDFC, Sagility and Yudiz, to global exposure through Fleet campaigns and even unexpected opportunities like the US cricket store, the kind of work that pushes you to think differently.

At the same time, we worked on brands like Qwiches, Vadapau Tempo and LightLounge.

Different scale. Same intent.

Sabse Important Shift? Clarity.

This year, we didn’t just choose what to do.

We chose what NOT to do.

Real estate. D2C.
Stepping away, intentionally.

And honestly… “Saying NO is also the part of growth”

That one decision changed how everything else flowed.

Stability > Speed

There was a time when moving fast felt like growth.

Now, stability does.

Stable teams.
Stable clients.
Better systems.

And suddenly, things don’t feel rushed anymore. They feel… controlled.

“Sab chal raha hai” se “sab samajh ke chal raha hai” tak ka shift GRANTH has experienced.

Some things just… Happened

The US trip wasn’t planned.
But it happened.

And it brought in a new client.

Philippines. Dubai. Singapore (over the years).

Different places, same feeling of realizing that, the more you step out, the more you realize अभी कितना कुछ देखना बाकी है|

And then there were those Random Moments

Inside jokes that don’t translate.
Group photos that took 15 attempts.
Late-night talks that didn’t need conclusions.
Award moments that felt bigger because everyone was there.

trip 7

trip 8

No one tracks these.

But somehow… these are the things you remember the most.

And then came that last day. No music. Some chaos.

trip 9

Now We’re Here

New financial year.

Back to work.
Back to plans.
Back to timelines.

But not the same people who started the last one.

A little clearer.
A little calmer.
A little more sure.

And just like that…

We’re back where we started.

Walking into another year with the same people but different versions of us.

Because somewhere between the noise of Goa and the silence of the hills…
we didn’t just travel.

We changed thoda sa but enough.

Let’s see where this year leads us to…
